A mother, artist and storyteller- rediscovering life and color in midlife
Have you ever looked around and wondered, “What now?” after years of mothering, giving, and putting yourself last?
How time just flew by in a glimpse, without you knowing it? Beneath the layers of being a nanay(mother in Filipino), the silent shifts of aging, and the unspoken weight of daily life? I have too. This space is for women like us. I would like to call it my SAFE space, living the challenges of raising others while trying to remember ourselves. Through textured art and the healing power of color, I’ve started piecing myself back together. It’s not always graceful, but it’s real and authentic.
Like you, I’ve spent years pouring my heart into my family of 6. Somewhere along the way, I forgot what it felt like to just be me.
Is this you too?
Now, in this season of shifting hormones, changing roles, and deep reflection, I’ve found a new way to reconnect with myself, with calm, and with purpose, through textured art and the language of color.
This space is for mothers, dreamers, and women quietly carrying so much. If you’ve ever felt invisible, overwhelmed, or creatively starved, you’re not alone.
Here, we explore healing through art, the strength in softness, and the joy of starting again. I draw inspiration from artists like Claire Desjardins for creative energy. I remember sending her a message in her instagram regarding painting materials she uses, not really expecting an instant response. But she replied and didn’t gatekeep any. You rock Claire! Thank you.

Let’s grow softer, stronger, and more vibrant together.
Welcome to my studio. A cozy, messy, beautiful corner of the internet where I share my love for art, motherhood, and this new season of rediscovering myself.
Lately, I’ve also been falling in love with journaling. It’s become a simple but powerful way to clear my thoughts and reconnect with myself before I pick up a paintbrush. I use a journal that’s perfect for creative minds like ours, it’s blank pages are perfect where we can doodle, sketch, or even explore ideas before turning them into full paintings. It’s like a mini pre-painting canvas and daily companion in one.
Here’s the one I personally use and love → Check it out on Amazon
I’m so glad you’re here, let this be your safe space too.
